President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Sunday, in Algiers, the presidents and representatives of Malian political movements.
“We thank President Abdelmadjid Tebboune for this warm welcome and we hail Algeria’s role in the peace and reconciliation process in Mali, and also for the establishment of security and peace in the country,” said the spokesman of the heads and representatives of the political movements of Mali at the end of the audience.
Welcoming the role played by Algeria in “the resolution of issues in Mali,” he said that the meeting enabled underlining Algeria’s firm commitments for a “new momentum to peace in the region.”
In this regard, he extended his thanks to Algeria for its role in the region.
The audience took place at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra and the Principal Private Secretary to the Presidency of the Republic Abdelaziz Khellaf.
