President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Monday in Algiers the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Algeria, Li Lianhe, who paid him a farewell visit at the end of his mission in Algiers, the presidency of the Republic said in a statement.
“The president of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune has received today, at the presidency of the Republic, the ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Algeria, Li Lianhe, who paid him a farewell visit at the end of his mission in Algiers,” the statement said.
The audience took place in the presence of the chief of staff at the presidency of the Republic, Abdelaziz Khellaf.
At the end of the audience, the Chinese diplomat said he expressed to President Tebboune his “thanks and gratitude for the support and cooperation he received from Algeria during his mission as China’s ambassador in Algiers.
Reiterating his country’s interest in boosting friendship and cooperation relations with Algeria, Lianhe said he had conveyed to President Tebboune the greetings of the Chinese president.
The Chinese diplomat stressed that he had followed during his mission in Algeria the development of the bilateral relations with his country in various fields and areas.
