The president of the Republic, commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, minister of National Defence, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, conducted Thursday a cabinet reshuffle of 11 portfolios in the government of Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane.
The reshuffle concerns the ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, assigned to Ahmed Attaf, the ministry of Finance, to Laaziz Fayed, the ministry of Youth and Sports, to Abderrahmane Hammad, and the ministry of Digitization and Statistics, to Meriem Benmiloud, in place of Hocine Cherhabil, called to other duties.
The reshuffle also concerns the ministry of Trade and Export Promotion, assigned to Tayeb Zitouni in place of Kamel Rezig, called to other duties, the ministry of Water Resources, assigned to Taha Derbal, the ministry of
Transports, to Youcef Chorfa, who was previously minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, as well as the ministry of Tourism and Craft Industry, assigned to Mokhtar Didouche.
The president of the Republic appointed Fayçal Bentaleb minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Fazia Dahleb minister of Environment and Renewable Energies and Ahmed Bidani minister Fisheries and Fishery Products.
In addition, President Tebboune also appointed Abdelaziz Khellaf minister of State, advisor to the President of the Republic, and Mohamed Nadir Larbaoui chief of Staff to the presidency of the Republic.”
