President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune reiterated on Monday during a telephone call with President of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), “his support and encouragement to the national encouragement to the national team” at the African Cup of Nations that Cameroon hosts from January 9 to February 6, 2022.
The president of the FAF, Charaf-Eddine Amara said in a statement on Algerian television to have received this morning a phone call from President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune during which the head of state has reiterated “his support and encouragement to the national football team and technical staff during this CAN held in Cameroon.
President Tebboune has also received news regarding members of the media delegation accompanying the national team, victim yesterday evening of an attack near the hotel where they are staying in Douala (Cameroon), added the president of the FAF who welcomed the gesture of the President of the Republic.
