The Arab foreign ministers held Monday a closed-door meeting to discuss the “Algiers Declaration” that will be submitted to the Arab leaders at the Arab Summit scheduled for 1-2 November at the International Conference Center (CIC).
In a statement to the press, Algeria’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Delegate to the Arab League, Abdelhamid Chebira stressed that the draft Algiers Declaration included all the issues discussed at the preparatory meetings to the Arab Summit and the meeting of the Arab foreign ministers.
Algeria, in its capacity as the host country chairing the 31st session of the Council of the Arab League at the Summit level, “is tasked with drafting this project that takes into account the proposals made and the convergence of views on the political, economic and social issues discussed.”
