President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held on Monday in Algiers, extended meeting with President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and the delegation accompanying him in his visit to Algeria.
The meetings took place at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, Chief of Staff at the Presidency of the Republic, Abdelaziz Khellaf, Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, and Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig.
Earlier, an official reception was granted by President Tebboune to the President of the European Council before starting bilateral discussions at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic.
Charles Michel arrived shortly before in Algiers where he was received at the international airport Houari Boumediene by Prime Minister, Aïmene Benabderrahmane.
